To provide confidential, high quality and comprehensive administrative, secretarial and PA support to the Chief Executive/Executive Director/Director to ensure they can fulfil their role and deliver their responsibilities as effectively as possible.
Responsibility
Responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative support across the team. The nature of the work means you will be dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information about vulnerable children and young people. You will be expected to communicate with a range of officer’s partner agencies and service users:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
· RSA2 typing and Minute taking or equivalent
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, social media, and CRM:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Previously worked as a Personal Assistant at a senior level
· Advanced IT software packages, MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and booking
meetings,
· Active Diary Management, Minute Taking, with the ability to proofread reports and
professional format documents
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to confidently manage high-level
contact with internal and external senior people, including elected officials
· Experience in dealing with confidential matters sensitively and discreetly and handling
a high volume of calls with strong organisational skills.
· Experience in providing high-level business management support at the senior management
level.
· Ability to work on own initiative, to plan and prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
· Able to meet deadlines and targets to agreed work standards, with minimum supervision
· Ability to make accurate, logical and considered judgements.
