We are recruiting an HR Consultant: - To case management experience, disciplinary, grievances, and sickness & management. Experience in advising managers (remotely as well) in a multisite set-up building. Ability to gain credibility, challenge managers positively, must have sold expertise in change management- restructure:
Responsibility
To deliver a comprehensive high quality and professional HR service to all customers that meet strategic objectives and includes, for example, Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, TUPE, organisational change and organisational development:
Qualification – Essential
· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
· Education to degree level or equivalent or has equivalent demonstrable experience
· CIPD or equivalent, or significant experience within HR
· Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Social Media:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Solid experience delivering a range of Operational HR services
· Knowledge of HR best practices in a local government setting
· Experience in advising on HR policies and procedures and proposing recommendations
for improvements
· Proficiency in HR support in delivering change in a complex organisation
· Demonstrable knowledge of both HR policies and procedures and employment law
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other desktop IT applications
· Experience in building productive relationships with customers
· Experience in analysing data and producing HR reports to facilitate business decisions
· Demonstrate a professional approach and commitment to customer service
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all circumstances
· Skilled communicator, able to share options for action both verbally and in writing
· Ability to work collaboratively with others
· Ability to show personal resilience and work in a fast-paced environment and balance
competing priorities to deliver to timescales
· Primarily working from home- the occasional requirement to go to face-to-face meetings
Essential Compliance Requirements
