We are recruiting a Team Support Administrator to provide an effective and efficient high standard of administrative, practical and financial support to the teams in the Children’s Social Care & Youth Justice Division:
Responsibility
To provide an effective service for administrative and operational tasks to support all administration, reporting, finance and other duties to enable Social Workers to fulfil their duties and responsibilities to children and young people.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Social Media, CRM Databases
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· To have a basic understanding of legislation and follow written procedures and policies
· Proven ability to Plan, develop and maintain office systems
· Able to demonstrate experience working as part of a team and understanding individual
roles and responsibilities
· Experience in supporting project work
· Knowledge of working in Local Authority and Children’s Social Care Services is desirable
but not essential
· Excellent communication skills – written and personal
· Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
· Able to deal with sensitive, confidential and sometimes distressing information at all times
· Able to meet deadlines for the completion of work
· Knowledge of collating and presenting information, including statistics and other data, as
required
· Able to prioritise work and use initiative
· Advanced ICT skills and effective use of specialist ICT packages
· Accurate keyboard skills and attention to detail to enable data quality
· Experience in dealing sympathetically with clients who are angry and frustrated
· Able to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
· Willing to be flexible, organised and ready to learn
· Willingness to participate in development and training opportunities
· Experience in performing a wide range of administrative tasks and following written
policies and procedures
· Understanding of prioritising tasks for self and team, organising a team’s routine
· You can work remotely and have suitable and fully operational IT and internet services to
connect to the network
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Five Years of Reference
· DBS - Enhanced
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
