We are recruiting an Administration Officer to provide a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and support managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our general administrative activities:
Responsibility
To serve as the main point of contact, acting as a liaison between other professionals in the business, ensuring deadlines are met:
Qualification – Essential
· 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· NVQ Level 3 and relevant experience
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, CRM and Social Media:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Excellent verbal communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers in
a regulatory service, adhering to policy and guidelines while resolving concerns
· Excellent literary skills with the ability to draft responses to customer enquiries on parking
and highways issues
· Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive and constructive approach to work and a
polite, professional and helpful manner
· The ability to investigate and respond to enquiries received concerning parking and
highways services
· Able to collate information from various sources, including liaising with technical staff
services and cross-service officers to prepare comprehensive, prompt responses to
enquiries
· Ability to deal with complaint resolution and, when required, liaise with complainants to
ensure a comprehensive understanding of concerns and achieve quick solutions
· Able to deal directly with residents by telephone, supporting them with online permit
applications and resolving their concerns
· To be proficient in the use of IT systems and to develop a detailed working knowledge of
service
· Able to provide general support to the service management team, and organise meetings
with
external participants and critical document discussions when required
· Ability to work well within a team and also alone in a typical office environment
· Ability to follow specified processes to ensure consistent service delivery to all customers
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
