We are recruiting a Recruitment & Resourcing Senior Business Support Officer to provide responsive, high-quality, professional and timely administrative and advisory support to service areas as directed and to ensure the Business Support Team operates efficiently and effectively:
Responsibility
To be responsible for the establishment, maintenance and development of efficient, cost-effective systems for administrative support, ensuring high levels of achievement in customer service performance standards and meeting the requirements of service level agreements in all areas of the postholder’s responsibility:
Qualification – Essential
• 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
• GNVQ Business or equivalent professional work experience
• Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media, MS Teams:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
• Knowledge of best practices in recruitment, resourcing, employment law and of local
  government pay and conditions of service
• Knowledge of people checking and renewal processes (DBS, Work Permits and HCPC
  regulations)
• Knowledge of HR systems and HR policies/procedures in line with people management
• Knowledge of the functions and governance arrangements of Local Government
• Detailed understanding of key stakeholders and partners of the service
• Thorough knowledge of Local Authorities’ responsibilities for the security and confidentiality of
  sensitive information
• A solid administrative background and a deep understanding of office procedures
• Ability to deliver excellent support services, including supporting meetings (where required) to
  internal stakeholders in connection with workforce-related matters
• Experience in the end-to-end recruitment and redeployment process
• Demonstrable evidence to create and sustain positive working relationships with both internal
  & external stakeholders that generate confidence, respect, credibility and trust
• Experience in implementing new processes and procedures to drive operational delivery
• Experience in working under pressure, managing competing priorities and meeting tight
  deadlines
• Proficient in the use of HR-specific and generic IT databases and Microsoft Office applications
  to an intermediate level
• Experience in dealing with risk and fraud awareness
Essential Compliance Requirements
• Three Years of Reference
• Enhanced DBS
• A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
