Business Support Officer – Data & Excel

Business Support Administrator, Public Sector with strong Excel and data skills? You'll support key data, admin and service preparation work ahead of a potential Ofsted inspection. This is ideal if you are accurate, organised and ready to hit the ground running.

• Update Excel spreadsheets and manage accurate data.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Improve electronic admin and data processes.
• Handle enquiries, records and correspondence.
• Prepare minutes, notes and reports.
• Support teams across South London boroughs.

You'll be confident working with data, systems and deadlines in a busy admin environment.

• 2+ years' administration experience.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with data input, checking and analysis.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident handling confidential information.
• Local Authority or public sector experience desirable.

• £21.81ph Umbrella
• Hybrid: only 1 office day per week
• 3 months with possible extension based on performance
• Start: 1 September 2026
• Meaningful public sector work
