Description
To carry out Parking and Traffic Enforcement by issuing Penalty Charge Notices and always acting courteously and professionally. You will identify and report vehicles for possible removal for the reason of being parked in contravention of the relevant restrictions or for being abandoned, including, as required, part of a two-person crew on the removal of vehicles, directing the removal and assisting with the removal operation.
Responsibility
To be responsible for carrying out inspections and checks on blue badges in vehicles and approaching drivers displaying blue badges, checking the status of the badge using the blue badge database APP and identifying if the badge is being misused, stolen, lost, or expired.
Qualification – Essential
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- NVQ or equivalent standard and evidence of continuing professional development
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Advanced – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage.
Successful candidates will have:- Knowledge of parking legislation.
- Strong computer skills and accurate data entry.
- Ability to communicate over the radio with Accuracy, Brevity, and Clarity using radio phonetic alphabet codes.
- Previous experience working as a Civil Enforcement Officer.
- Experience working in a Customer Service Environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Clear handwriting and able to compose concise, accurate reports.
- Ability to walk outside for an extended period, covering a whole shift in all types of weather conditions.
- Be able or willing to ride a moped or be competent at riding a moped/motorcycle.
- Flexible and willing to work in all-weather conditions, including evenings, weekends, nights (night rate payment available), and bank holiday work when required.

- 3 Years References.
- Enhanced CRB/DBS Within Last 12 Months
