We seek a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance officer to join the Cash Management Team in Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of financial processes and support systems used within the Cash Management Team, providing support to service areas and management on accounts receivable/payable with technical, operational, and financial management matters.

Responsibility

As a finance officer, you will administer the Cash Management Team's financial processes and support systems, support service areas, and accounts receivable/payable management with technical, operational, and financial management matters.

Qualification – Essential

  • GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
  • NVQ level Business & Finance qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Advanced – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media, ERP systems.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage.
Successful candidates will be:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Process and reconcile daily banking transactions.
  • Verify and post receipts and payments in the accounting system.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.
  • A strong understanding of financial principles and ERP systems, and experience in Oracle Fusion applications, is desirable.
  • Advanced in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in financial reconciliation.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships

  • 5 Years References.
  • Standard CRB/DBS
