Fleet Operations Driver Attendant

Description

We are searching for a Fleet Operations Driver Attendant, a crucial and indispensable role to our team. Your responsibilities will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet operations and meeting service requirements and customer needs.

Responsibility

To personally and through team members assist in delivering the service plans and objectives for the Fleet operations team. To safely transport all passengers, promoting their general welfare and safety.

Qualification – Essential

• GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
• Must have a D1 licence or D1(101) Licence
• Relevant recent Passenger Vehicle Driving employment experience
• Emergency First Aid Qualification
• Manual Handling training
• Basis –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media and smartphone.

Essential - Skills, Abilities, & Experience

• A full endorsement free driving licence that includes a category D Licence.
• Minimum of 4 years of driving experience.
• Good accident record and competent driver.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Have expertise in operating bus tail lifts to help clients in wheelchairs.
• Must be able to use a smartphone effectively.
• Experience in the transportation of passengers.
• Experience in working to tight schedules.
• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Being able to confer easily with customers and provide accurate advice in spoken English is essential.
• Previous experience driving a mini-bus, using Tail Lifts/ Manual Handling, etc.
• Applicants must hold a clean driving license with Category D1 entitlement.
• Able to work Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a regular rota.
• Able to provide a safe environment for customers and staff and treat all with respect and consideration

Essential Compliance Requirements

• Two Years of Reference.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
