We are recruiting a Delivery Maintenance officer to deliver and fit specialist community equipment and minor adaptations to residents' homes and, where appropriate, demonstrate the proper use, ensuring that the equipment is adjusted according to the user's need. Carry out warehouse and stock management duties as directed, including equipment recycling:
Responsibility
· To plan daily scheduled work activity, identify timed visits and organise delivery routes.
· To pick / test /check /load /equipment and secure the vehicle.
· Ensure vehicle safety checks and decontamination procedures are completed and
the vehicle is kept in a safe and clean condition in line with ICES protocol:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English
· A full UK Driving Licence and substantial Social Care delivery experience.
· Solid user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and social media.
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Must be available for immediate start.
· Experience in driving and delivering social care equipment, including loading/unloading,
route planning, and completing paperwork in an area of high demand.
· Experience working in a customer-focused organisation, providing excellent customer care,
driving/delivering, and Collecting equipment.
· Experience in Driving 3.5T vans together with the ability to maintain accurate electronic
records.
· Proven ability to prepare and monitor deliveries & collections, stock ordering, recycling, and
using hand-held electronic systems - essential.
· Experience in attending independent living and residential care environments.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work within the team, with external
customers, professionals, service users and their careers.
· Able to support the local community daily, helping people live a better and independent
lifestyle.
· Must be flexible and willing to work out-of-hours when required.
· Solid understanding of store and stock management processes.
· Must be reliable and have excellent timekeeping.
· Must be physically fit to be able to lift and load deliveries.
· Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date carer records.

· Enhanced DBS – Essential
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
