Description
Our client in North West London is recruiting a Programmed Work Caretaker to support the health and well-being of residents. To provide a visible and trusted presence in a flexible, responsive, high-quality caretaking service in the community and the small street properties receiving this Service:
Responsibilities:
To work as part of a team in ensuring that cleaning of housing properties meets or exceeds the agreed standards and frequencies to internal and external areas of the community working in
Qualification – Essential
·        GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE including English & maths
·        Basic Health & Safety Certificate
·        COSHH certified
·        Manual Handling Trained
·        Good user – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
·        Experience in minor building maintenance
·        Must be physically fit and strong enough to carry tools and materials
·        Excellent level of literacy and numeracy
·        Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and as part of a team
·        Experience in completing cleaning tasks within compliance schedules, frequencies and
         methods
·        Experience sweeping and communal washing staircases, entrances, foyers, passages,
         courtyards, car parks, hard-standing areas etc.
·        Ability to ensure that estate incidents are accurately recorded
·        Carry out deep internal and external cleaning (including bin/bin chambers and graffiti)
         across sites in line with the deep cleaning programme
·        Knowledge of health and safety regulations
·        Knowledge of the mechanical equipment and cleaning materials used for residential
         cleaning
·        Ability to prioritise and plan conflicting workloads regularly to meet deadlines and set targets
·        Experience in communicating verbally and in writing effectively with residents, contractors,
         colleagues, elected members, etc.
·        Ability to ensure that customer care standards are adhered to at all times
·        Ability to undertake manual handling duties and other physical demands required of the role
         daily
Essential Compliance Requirements
·        Three Years of Reference
·        Enhanced DBS
·        A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
