- Our local government client is recruiting a Delivery Maintenance Driver; to deliver and fit specialist community equipment and minor adaptations to residents' homes and, where appropriate, demonstrate the proper use, ensuring that the equipment is adjusted according to the users' needs. To carry out the warehouse and stock management duties as directed, including equipment recycling:
Key Responsibilities
· To plan daily scheduled work activity, identify timed visits and organise delivery routes.
· To pick / test /check /load /equipment and secure the vehicle.
· Ensure vehicle safety checks and decontamination procedures are completed, and the
the vehicle is kept in a safe and clean condition in line with ICES protocol.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Knowledge of –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Social Media
Essential - Skills,
· Experience in Driving and delivery, loading and unloading,
· Good ability to Plan routes and completion of paperwork in an area of high demand
· Experience working in a customer-focused organisation, providing excellent customer
care
· Must be able to interact with others appropriately
· Proven ability to prepare and monitor deliveries & collections, stock ordering, recycling,
using hand-held electronic systems /
· Experience in Driving 3.5T vans together with the ability to maintain accurate electronic
records
· Able to support the local community daily, helping people live a better and more
independent lifestyle, reporting and system updates, and stock control
· Able to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work, with some out-of-hours work.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work within the team and with
external customers, professionals, service users and their careers.
· The ability to contribute to team working is essential.
· Reliable and good timekeeping
· Must be physically fit to be able to lift and load deliveries
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Two Years of References
· Standard DBS requires customer-facing
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role

Salary: £12.47 per hour – Inside IR35-£22.3k
Location: North London
Hours: 35.00 hours per week
Duration: 3 months – TBC after that
