We are looking for qualified social workers who are passionate about supporting people who have complex mental health needs to achieve their outcomes in their local community:

Responsibility
Your role will include undertaking Care Act assessments, reviews, Carer's assessments/reviews/safeguarding enquires as appropriate:

Qualification – Essential
·         3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
·         Demonstrate a commitment to post-qualifying training
·         Member of RICS or CIOB or equivalent
·         Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook

Essential Skills
·         Mental Health social work experience, especially multi-disciplinary work
·         Undertaken supervision of other staff
·         Undertaken Practice Educator training
·         AMHP training completed and willing to participate in AMHP rota following warranting
·         Experience in managing cases involving court protection and mental health capacity
·         Experience in complex hospital discharges
·         Have an understanding of the safeguarding adults at risk process
·         High level of analytical clarity
·         Written and verbal skills for face-to-face work with clients, letters and report writing and
          multi-disciplinary negotiations and discussions
·         Ability to make and maintain autonomous professional decisions
·         Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 Code of Practice and associated memoranda
          and guidance
·         Knowledge of the NHS & Community Care Act

·         A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
·         Five Years of Reference
·         The use of a car is essential
·         Flexible occasional hours
·         This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
·         An enhanced disclosure check
