The role will allow you to use your knowledge across a whole range of maintenance works from pre-inspections through disrepair, fire re-instatement work, diagnosing faults, and specialist works to post-inspection:
Responsibility
You will be undertaking property surveys, specifying works and managing delivery by ERD (our in-house maintenance team) or contractors, ensuring works are undertaken without delay and completed to the highest quality:
Qualification – Essential
· 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Member of RICS or CIOB or equivalent
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Projects, AutoCAD or
Vectorworks skills
Essential Skills
· Three years minimum post-qualification experience
· Proven experience in designing alterations & minor improvements
· Good knowledge of contract administration
· Able to demonstrate knowledge of working on public buildings
· Good communication skills
· Proven time management skills
· Experience in specification preparation, including use of NBS
· Able to demonstrate expertise in contract administration on multi-discipline projects
· Excellent report writing skills
· Advanced CAD skills and detailing Civic buildings and schools
· Experience in working on minor improvement projects up to the value of £100k
· Experience in planned maintenance works (roofing and the like)
· Proven reports, feasibilities experience
Essential Compliance
· Three Years of Reference
· The use of a car is essential
· Able to climb ladders
