We are recruiting an Audio Visual Technician to support the AV Manager in delivering all Audio Visual services throughout the various sites of the business. The duties involve various live events (in-person, remote and hybrid) of varying scales and backgrounds. To include - business functions, formal meetings, campaigns, commemorations, conferences, corporate functions, and weddings:
Responsibility
Responsible for providing meeting room support to the business, periodic maintenance and reactive repair, testing and servicing all Audio Visual equipment, service records and inventories. Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc testing across all areas. (Including maintaining licences, software upgrades etc.)
Qualification – Essential
· 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· IPAF License desirable
· Basic Ladder Training
· Manual Handling
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Proven ability to coordinate and deliver a wide range of small and large scale, Audio
Visual services for internal and external events
· Demonstrable experience in presenting and managing Audio-Visual content for events
using various multimedia through to coordinating lighting and sound for large productions
· Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot both sound and lighting equipment
· Ability to work with the following equipment: Crestron, Public-i Webcasting, Avolites Tiger
Touch, Yamaha LS9, Sennheiser EW100 and IT systems
· Experience in obtaining quotes for Audio Visual services from external Audio Visual
suppliers when required for both internal and external clients, ensuring the best selection
in terms of service, value and quality for the event
· Ability to carry out risk assessments for all AV set-ups
· Ability to manage internal and external equipment bookings
· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and to direct others as
appropriate
· Experience and awareness of current health & safety legislation and regulations
· Ability to draw up a schedule of tasks and demonstrate an ability to prioritise
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
