We are recruiting a Commissioning and Procurement Officer – ICT projects, who will thrive in an agile and networked organisation and can support continuous improvement within a constructive organisational culture:
Responsibility
To work closely with ICT operations and commercial team, and other clients to deliver various ICT projects across the business, including providing several significant projects in the transition to Cloud, Traffic Management system, CCTV and security, Contact centre platform solution and Revs and Bens IT solutions:
Qualification – Essential
· 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· NVQ Level 4 &/or relevant experience
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media, MS Teams, Visio,
and MS Projects
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Ability to develop tender documentation and manage the tendering process following
Public contracting regulations
· Understanding of ICT and its development path
· Experience in stakeholder engagement
· Ability to Understand the key to Category Management tools, processes and approaches
· Demonstrable experience within Public Contracting Regulations
· Ability to provide procurement advice and support to the clients
· Ability to maintain the business’s commissioning and procurement guidance materials
and templates
· Experience in ensuring the best commercial and required outcomes for the business in
addition to a compliant process and result
· Experience in public contract publication and experience using an e-tendering portal or
completing call-offs under the nationally established and recognised frameworks
· Ability to deliver low-value requests for quotations
· Experience in providing procurement advice and signposting to support further
· Ability to work independently and confidently when leading procurement exercises.
· CIPS accreditation or a willingness to train.
