We are recruiting a highly-skilled Finance and Admin Assistant for a busy forward-thinking Legal Service team in North West London. To assist the Legal Services in providing practical management service support:
Responsibility
To undertake administrative support, including diary management and fielding of telephone calls, paying disbursement fees, and being the first point of contact for resolving any queries or issues with external lawyers and barrister chambers:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C)or equivalent to include Maths and English
· BTEC National Diploma, NVQ level 3) or has equivalent demonstrable experience
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Good experience in processing Legal Invoices
· Solid administration experience supporting a sizeable Legal Practice
· Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with a broad audience
· Ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise tasks to achieve performance
targets
· Able to use information systems and databases to record service information and
generate reports
· Good experience in finance - accounts payable and receivable - invoicing, monthly
reconciliation, PO and non-PO invoices. Knowledge of Oracle is desirable but not
essential
· Experience in administrative work in a legal or similar office environment dealing with
correspondence, filing, preparing documents and using IT systems
· Experience in following and adapting administrative processes to meet the service’s
needs
· Experience in providing business support in a busy environment
· Demonstrable experience in accurate and timely data input and data management,
ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
· Experience in working in an information-sensitive environment
· Ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise tasks to achieve performance
targets
· Ability to identify and undertake rational solutions to complex tasks
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
· Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines
· A good team player.

· Three Years of Reference
