We are recruiting an Estate Services Coordinator; to ensure estates are maintained at the highest possible standards of cleanliness, safety, security and appearance. To lead a team of caretakers responsible for all aspects of line management, including overseeing and supporting training and development.
Responsibility
Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions of services associated with estate management functions, such as waste and recycling, grounds/greenspace maintenance, communal repairs and estate lighting. Work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with other teams and partner agencies.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C)or equivalent to include Maths and English
· BTEC National Diploma, NVQ level 3) or has equivalent demonstrable experience
· Advanced user – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Proven experience in successfully managing & deliver services to the public
· Detailed, practical knowledge of facilities management, related regulations and statutory
requirements in respect of health and safety and compliance etc.
· Direct experience in developing, delivering and monitoring schedules of planned,
preventative, cyclical and capital works across a similar estate
· Experience in effectively managing performance, analysing inspection reports as well
as a resident and member, feedback/complaints
· Experience in the supervision and management of diverse staff teams to deliver high-
quality and responsive service on our estates
· Ability to ensure the health and safety-related tasks, including fire safety inspections and
fire risk assessments are actioned
· Knowledge of estate services, including grounds maintenance, repairs and cleaning
practice
· A clear commitment to excellent customer service with proven experience of having
driven a customer focussed approach in similar roles
· Ability to inspect and assess the quality of work carried out by caretakers and take
corrective management action to address issues where necessary
· Ability to form relationships at all levels and communicate effectively both verbally and in
writing
· Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills with a proven ability to secure the
best possible outcomes
· Ability to work flexibly, including attendance at meetings outside of regular office hours,
including at weekends
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· Enhanced DBS (within the last 12 months)
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
