Description
We are recruiting an Income Control Officer to join our Accounts Receivable Team providing support in all aspects of Billing. Payment allocations, Credit notes, refunds, Cashiering and cheque processing, Bank statements, fund transfers and payment exceptions, and any other Accounts Receivable tasks required by the income Team Leader:
 
Responsibility
Responsible for working within a defined financial control framework to ensure controls are in place, providing a comprehensive accounts receivable service where applicable:
 
Qualification – Essential
·         GCSEs (A-C)or equivalent to include Maths and English
·         NVQ Level 2 - Business & Finance and Administration or equivalent experience
·         Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
 
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
·         Ability to identify risks and compliance with segregation of tasks and financial regulations
          related to Accounts Receivable processes
·         Experience knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and
          financial systems
·         Ability to advise management of any significant discrepancies or failures in financial or
          control procedures
·         Ability to performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and
          recording receivables’ data
·         Experience in the allocation of all income using AIMS income management & Oracle
          systems, and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
·         Experience in working in a customer-focused environment
·         Experience in income collection and working to targets
·         Advanced IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Word, Excel and
          financial databases
·         Strong communication skills
·         Strong teamwork and ability to work on own initiative
·         Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
·         Ability to organise own workload to meet targets & deadlines
 
Essential Compliance Requirements
·         Three Years of Reference
·         A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
