We are recruiting a Healthcare Team Leader to manage all aspects of the shift and to deliver a service which provides a high standard of care and meets the needs of individual customers:
Responsibility
To deliver a quality of service which meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) fundamental standards, improve the quality of customers’ lives and support happy living for the years ahead:
Qualification – Essential
GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
Care level 3 diploma or team leading qualification
Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Understanding CQC essential standards and their impact on care management and practice
· Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care
· People management skills
· Understanding Health and safety legislation
· Experience in Safeguarding vulnerable adults
· Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
· Understanding of Deprivation of liberty
· Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality in a care setting
· Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of older people
· Previous people management experience is desirable
· Experience in working in a customer-focused environment
· Experience in delivering hands-on care
· Commitment and passion to providing high-quality care
· Proven negotiation and influencing skills
· Ability to adapt to different situations and work under pressure
· Management and organisation skills
· Flexible and reliable
· Approachable attitude
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Five Years of Reference
· Enhanced CRB / DBS – Essential
· Current HCPC registration
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
