Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the energetic but vibrant Passenger Transport Services department, responsible for transporting special educational needs service users to and from their academic settings. The successful candidate will be lucky enough to work closely with a very dynamic team of staff who make a real, tangible difference in people’s lives while giving something back to the broader community.

Responsibility

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, completed administrative duties, and be able to showcase a strong IT skill set and knowledge of Microsoft packages. The ability to be proactive within a reactive environment, along with the ability to keep calm under pressure, will be advantageous.

Qualification – Essential

  • GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
  • NVQ level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Advanced – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media, CRM.

For this Business Support Officer/Data Processor role, the requirements will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing administrative support for organising, transferring, processing, and storing data.
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good concentration, meticulousness, accuracy, and ability to provide work without errors.
  • Advanced computer literacy with knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience in database management.
  • A diligent and responsible working attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, completed administrative duties with an ability to showcase a strong skill set in IT and a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Being proactive within a reactive environment and keeping calm under pressure will be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision to meet challenging objectives and deadlines.
  • Work accurately to deadlines with attention to detail
  • Aptitude to work effectively with a minimum of guidance.
  • Be an excellent planner, organiser, team builder, decision maker and motivator.

Essential Compliance Requirements

  • 3 Years' References.
  • Enhanced DBS.
