Our local government clients in Merseyside seek a Business Support Minute Taker To provide administrative support to the Cared for Teams and Young Persons Team, including minuting Strategy Meetings and other Professional meetings as required.
Responsibility
To organise the collation and filing of reports, files, registers, and any other appropriate records related to the work of the Cared for Teams and Young Persons Team. Attend Strategy Meetings and any other meetings when necessary and act as minute taker where appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- OCR (RSA II) qualification or equivalent, or equivalent experience
- Word Processing qualification/experience or equivalent NVQ qualifications
- Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media, and CRM.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria-to be Tested at Shortlisting.
- Proven clerical experience.
- Work as part of a team.
- Experience providing the full range of word processing services in an office environment.
- Proven experience of minute-taking in a formal setting- Essential
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Ability to take clear and concise minutes – Essential.
- Demonstrable organisational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise work and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills
- Adaptable/Flexible.
- Ability to cope with the sensitive nature and content of child protection information.
Essential Compliance Requirements
- Two Years of References.
