Description
We seek a highly organised and customer-focused HR and recruitment officer for an educational institution in southwest London. You will provide essential administrative support to the Employee Relations Manager and the wider management team, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the HR function.
Responsibility
Assist in providing a high-quality HR service to staff, ensuring all advice and support is delivered in line with policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records within the HR systems, always ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
- NVQ Level 4; HND; BTEC Professional or equivalent experience.
- Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media, VISIO and CRM
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria-to be Tested at Shortlisting.
- Experience supporting HR/OD services through administration and providing information to others.
- Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures, processes and the relevance of employment legislation,
- Experience in interpreting and applying these to provide information to managers.
- Experience recording information and monitoring activities to report progress against performance indicators and identify areas of concern.
- Provide evidence of continuous professional development and keep current with employment law and good practice.
- Able to respect and maintain high confidentiality with data and sensitive information.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, as well as the ability to use a variety of computer packages, including MS Office, Google Drive, and management information systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including effectively giving and receiving information/advice to various audiences.
- Ability to prepare and present verbal and written information and reports clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR processes.
- Knowledge and use of various HR & Payroll ICT systems, portals and packages.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, act with integrity, and uphold ethical values, including social responsibility, equality & diversity, and PRIDE values.
