We seek a hard-working and ambitious individual to join our Customer Relationship Team in Building Maintenance for a public sector client in East London. This role would support our complaints team and provide a fantastic opportunity to gain vast experience and knowledge of Building Maintenance, working with various stakeholders, teams and residents.

Responsibility

The Customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for an individual who can bring excellent customer service skills to the table, along with the desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced, complex role.

 Qualification – Essential

  • GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 3, BTEC or equivalent experience in a related role
  • Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Social Media.

Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Ability to work flexibly, creatively and collaboratively to resolve issues and problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with colleagues at all levels and adjust their work priorities to assist colleagues in meeting service area objectives.
  • A robust customer-focused approach, with an emphasis on ‘getting it right the first time’ and sensitively addressing concerns.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with residents, contractors, and officers at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Good ability to coordinate and plan own workload and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise letters and reports.
  • Proven ability to present and analyse data for performance monitoring and reporting purposes and draw conclusions.
  • Good ability to train or motivate others to achieve service delivery/customer care excellence.
  • Advanced user of IT, including reporting and interpreting data.
  • A good understanding of housing management, repairs and maintenance, and tenancy law would be beneficial.
  • Good understanding of the practical approaches to customer care and complaints resolution.
  • Proven working knowledge of housing repair ordering systems, Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Experience working in a building maintenance environment, directly delivering customer-focused services.
  • Good experience in managing and resolving complaints and providing practical solutions.

Essential Compliance Requirements

  • Five Years of References.
  • Enhanced CRB/DBS Within Last 12 Months
  • The application includes pre-engagement screening, which is mandatory for this role.
