We are recruiting an HR Project Officer to undertake precise workforce planning (i.e. forecast future effective design, development and delivery of HR and people activities) and people solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the Asset Management’s Transformation team:
Responsibility
Plan and allocate resources to deliver workforce and resourcing planning, employee relations, advice and support, service and organisational change, succession planning, talent management, developing people management capacity and sustaining strong working relationships to achieve operational and strategic transformation priorities.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English.
· Postgraduate membership of the CIPD or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience
· Evidence of continued professional development.
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media.
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Knowledge of HR practices and project work
· Competence experience working as an HR professional in large complex organisations,
providing operational business-led people advice and influence to meet the needs of the
business.
· Strong experience in how to be an influential team member.
· Experience in challenging, coaching, training, and advising managers on all
workforce strategy and planning aspects.
· Experience working collaboratively across organisational boundaries, providing high-level
HR project-based support to various stakeholders.
· Experience in building effective working relationships with Trade Unions and being able to
influence positive outcomes.
· Experience in drawing on data analysis to drive continuous improvements and change.
· Experience supporting complex employee relations activities (i.e. TUPE, re-organisations,
disputes, terms and conditions, etc.)
· Practical written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation
skills.
· Able to use a variety of IT and digital technologies, i.e. Word, Excel, and HRMI Systems.
· Able to read and interpret data to support others in making data-driven decisions.
· Ability to work quickly and accurately while managing competing deadlines or priorities.
· Ability to think laterally and develop creative solutions to challenging problems.
· Tenacious, self-sufficient, and confident in working on initiative and making decisions.
· Commitment to developing a diverse and anti-racist organisation.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of References.
