- Our client in North London is recruiting a Children’s Services - Business Manager – This role ensures that procedural framework and operational delivery meets sufficiency, access, quality and impact requirements and supports management and governance processes for service impact and evidence-based outcomes for children and their families.
Responsibility
The 0-19 Business and Resource Manager is responsible for the effective administration operation, financial data, performance monitoring and governance infrastructure across Traded Services and Positive Activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh and BACE programmes.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE including English & maths
· Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience
· Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and social media:
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
· Significant experience managing administrative, financial or multi‐disciplinary teams within a
local government, school or independent sector.
· Successful track record of supporting the delivery of services which are effective at meeting
customer needs and are cost-efficient.
· Significant knowledge and experience ensuring safeguarding processes and systems are
in place and monitored.
· Good knowledge and understanding of early help.
· Significant experience in managing complex budgets and invoicing.
· High level of analytical skills and understanding of data relating to practice to support
strategic planning and the implementation of multi-disciplinary services.
· Demonstrable understanding of evidence-based service provision.
· Significant experience in successful budget management.
· Ability to implement, support and develop transparent processes which measure
performance and communicate these processes effectively to a range of staff and partners.
· Experience in managing multi-agency arrangements and an understanding of partnership
working.
· Ability to respond to challenges from partners and service users and contribute to the
development of changed service delivery.
· Knowledge and experience of engaging parents or service users
· Hybrid working arrangements, but they do need to be office-based part of the time.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Five Years of Reference- essential.
· Enhanced DBS - essential
· Available for immediate start.
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
