- Our client in North London is recruiting a Business Support Officer– To provide professional business support that facilitates the delivery of frontline services and priorities.
Responsibility
To be responsible for delivering, to a high standard, the full menu of business support service activities as defined by the operating model to ensure effective operation of the service and meet statutory requirements:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE including English & maths
· NVQ Business Administration Level 3, BTEC or equivalent
· Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and social media:
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
· Knowledge and abilities in delivering generic and service-specific support across the
organisation.
· Knowledge of the policies, procedures and statutory legislation that impact the role and
services it supports.
· Can demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise own workload, renegotiating
targets/deadlines as conflicting demands necessitate.
· Ability to liaise effectively, professionally and co-operatively with Business Support staff and
service users.
· Willing to cover colleagues and undertake other work consistent with the duties.
· Able to maintain accurate and effective communication with line management (including
providing reports and presentations).
· Knowledge, understanding, and ability to follow guidelines that ensure compliance with
Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements.
· Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Equal Opportunities
policies.
· Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint and social media.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of Business Support Administrator services and their role in meeting the
community's needs.
· Experienceprovidingexcellentbusinesssupportfunctions, ideally in a complex or regulated
environment, delivering high-quality services.
· Abilitytoworkunderpressureandrespondeffectivelytorapidlychanging priorities and deadlines.
· Abilitytomaintaininformation,recordingandfilingsystems(manualand computerised).
· Abilitytoenter,collate,compileanddistributeinformation(includingstatistical
data)consistentlyandeffectivelyusingvariousmethodsbestsuitedtomeet clientoutcomes.
· Experience in delivering service improvements through a programme of continuous
improvement.
· Experience working as part of a team.
· Experiencerespondingtoenquiriessuchasrequestsforinformationor complaints.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference- essential.
· Available for immediate start.
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
