- Our client in South East London is looking for an HR Advisers - Employee Relations – To provide support in delivering a high-quality operational HR advisory service to managers on all workforce-related matters, including resourcing, management of attendance, performance management, employee relations issues and general HR management interventions, to support the delivery of business objectives. Respond to first-line queries from a range of people who use HR services: managers, staff, and Trade Unions:
Responsibility
Respond to inquiries from managers, staff and their representatives, or recruitment candidates. Queries would include conditions of service, HR policies and employment matters that require some interpretation of policy/regulations, taking account of individual circumstances:
Qualification – Essential:
· GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
· Educated to degree level or equivalent or equivalent hands-on experience
· Willingness to study for CIPD
· Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media and CRM
Essential Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Extensive generalist HR experience, including administration of all aspects of recruitment
and selection processes
· Successful onboarding, change management, performance management and other HR-
related experience
· Managing employee relations cases from start to finish- essential.
· Experience in training and coaching managers to develop their competence and confidence.
· Experience analysing data to identify patterns and trends around employee relations.
· Solid knowledge of employment law, ER processes and best practices.
· Experience advising managers on employee relations matters; procedural support at formal
employee relations meetings; drafting meeting templates, letters, and other relevant
communications, and developing policies and procedures.
· Strong influencing and active listening skills; good attention to detail; and ability to be
organised and efficient when managing competing priorities.
· Experience with Microsoft 365, mainly using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
· Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment conditions to advise management,
staff, and trade union representatives.
· Ability to quickly and proactively establish credibility, trust and influence with key
stakeholders and decision-makers; influence and negotiate experience.

Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· Enhanced DBS required
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
