We are recruiting a Driver Non-PCV -to drive 16 seater accessible minibuses starting between 8 am and may be required to work anything from 5 1/2 to 7 hours per day - Location: Various sites:
Responsibility:
To support our customers to maximise independence and Enablement potential.
Qualification – Essential
· 3 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Clean D1 driving license – experience driving vehicles with up to 16 passenger seats.
· Good accident record and competent driver.
· Relevant recent Passenger Vehicle Driving employment experience
· Knowledge of North London and its streets.
· Need expertise to operate bus tail lifts to help clients in wheelchairs.
· Experience and ability to speak to members of the public in English.
· Able to converse easily with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is
essential.
· Able to be polite when conversing with the public.
· Able to work flexibly to cover any absence.
· Previous experience driving a mini-bus, using Tail Lifts/ Manual Handling, etc.
· Applicants must hold a clean driving license with Category D1 entitlement.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Five Years of Reference
· Enhanced DBS & barred list check
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
