- Our client in Central London is recruiting an Environment and leisure Project Manager. We are looking for someone passionate about good project management and with the skills and experience to use various project management techniques across a broad portfolio of work.
Responsibility
To be responsible for delivering on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). You will have used multiple skills to deliver EDI projects in another public sector setting, preferably within local government. We particularly welcome applications from candidates from a black, Asian or minority ethnic background:
Qualification – Essential:
· GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
· Good level of education or equivalent experience
· A recognised qualification in project management- PRINCE2
· Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media and CRM.
Essential Skills, Abilities & Experience:
· Agile methodology, scrum master or PRINCE2 certified or equivalent by experience.
· A good understanding of project delivery experience in a modern local government
organisation(s) - including change management.
· A good understanding of organisational redesign and the issues facing directorates in local
government going through change.
· Knowledge of various project management tools, methodologies and best practices. e.g.,
Agile or PRINCE2
· A good understanding of working on change management projects and maintaining
appropriate documentation, including process maps and change requests.
· Experience working through the entire project life cycle from inception to completion.
· Experience in producing project management protocols, initiating document reports and
managing risk and finances
· for various audiences.
· Experience in building strong and sustaining relationships with stakeholders.
· Ability to persuade, convince, influence and make a positive impression’ Competent in
simplifying complex ideas and changes and communicating them to staff across all levels of
the organisation.
· Ability to vary delivery style based on audience.
· Able to confidently engage with all internal and external stakeholders in various
communication formats.
· Demonstrates creativity and innovation in solution-finding and achieving initiatives.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· Enhanced DBS required
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
