- Our client in Merseyside is recruiting a Receptionist/Administration Assistant 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday– to provide critical administrative support and expertise to help help-co-ordinate and support the children’s centre and to be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff using the centre, welcoming them and providing information or referring to the appropriate member of the team:
Responsibility
To monitor access via the main door of visitors to the centre and ensure that all visitors sign in when they arrive and sign out when they depart; make arrangements for services and professionals using the centre as appropriate, including room booking and booking appointments as instructed:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
· NVQ Business Administration Level 3, BTEC or equivalent
· Office skills-based qualifications such as RSA,
· Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media and CRM.
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
· Ability to provide office administration services in a large organisation.
· Experience working effectively with a range of professional staff and external agencies.
· Experience in maintaining computerised and manual information management systems.
· Strong understanding of good customer service, particularly about external agencies.
· Ability to book appointments for centre managers as required and maintain appointment
calendars as instructed
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
· Advanced Information Technology skills for utilising the Internet, including accurate
advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Able to show accuracy in dealing with data.
· Flexible, adaptable and able to work using own initiative.
· Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Five Years of Reference
· Enhanced DBS required
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
