- Our client in East Londonis recruiting a Digital Project Manager– The core purpose of this role is to assess, make recommendations and, where possible, implement updates to the website, amongst other objectives:
Responsibilities:
Establishing a comprehensive project plan, including scoping requirements and deliverables, and providing end-to-end project management developing support documentation, including tracking, monitoring and updating on the status of activities to be completed, including any associated risks liaising with relevant teams and managers for the duration of the project.
Qualification – Essential
· GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE including English & maths
· A degree, equivalent qualification, or experience that supports the skills and abilities
required for the post.
· Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, social media
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
· Knowledge of digital transformation, service redesign, process mapping, business analysis
and service improvement models.
· Awareness of local government issues, particularly with service redesign, savings and
service delivery.
· Knowledge of web and digital accessibility requirements for public sector organisations.
· Experience creating, designing, and maintaining websites for complex organisations.
· An understanding and experience in effectively communicating an organisation’s brand
through digital.
· Aligning digital marketing strategies with overall business goals.
· Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues.
· Extensive experience in CMS and CRM systems and file formats.
· Sound experience of SEO and website user experience (UX) principles.
· Good knowledge of HTML and CSS – coding experience is a plus.
· Experience with Google Analytics and analysing insight to feed into ongoing development.
· Demonstrate experience in successfully developing and implementing project plans to
time, scope and budget.
· Excellent project management skills.
· Strong organisational skills to develop, implement and evaluate plans according to set
outcomes.
· Ability to set and meet tight deadlines and targets whilst dealing with conflicting priorities.
