We are recruiting a Delivery Maintenance Driver; training will be given to undertake the delivery and installation of community health items. Servicing equipment and route planning while working as an individual and in a team is Essential:
Responsibility
· To plan daily scheduled work activity, identify timed visits and organise delivery routes.
· To pick / test /check /load /equipment and secure the vehicle.
· Ensure vehicle safety checks and decontamination procedures are completed and
The vehicle is kept in a safe and clean condition in line with ICES protocol:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Full UK Driving Licence and substantial experience are essential
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Substantial experience in Driving and delivery, loading and unloading
· A proven commitment to high levels of customer service.
· Able to demonstrate the ability to Plan routes and complete paperwork in a high-demand
environment.
· Experience working in a customer-focused organisation as a driver.
· Must be able to interact with others appropriately.
· Proven ability to prepare and monitor deliveries & collections, stock ordering, recycling, and
using hand-held electronic systems - essential.
· Experience in Driving 3.5T vans together with the ability to maintain accurate electronic
records
· Able to support the local community daily, helping people live a better and independent
lifestyle, reporting and system updates, and experience in stock control.
· Must be flexible and willing to work out-of-hours when required.
· Understanding of store processes.
· Reliable and good timekeeping.
· Must be physically fit to be able to lift and load deliveries.
· Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and carer records.
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of References
· Enhanced DBS
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role.
