To develop and oversee a project management approach for delivering the Cultural Impact. Ensuring project risks are managed, and mitigations are in place. Including the monitoring and evaluation of a framework to ensure that it is used across the whole programme, including internal and external delivery:
Responsibility
To produce briefings, presentations and reports to officers, councillors and partner organisations and funders at all stages of the Cultural Impact Award to enable the promotion and monitoring of all events and activities. Including the development and implementation of a marketing and comms strategy, liaising with internal staff, press, funders and key stakeholders:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Qualification in Arts/Events Management or a related subject
· Project Management qualification
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Social
media, and CRM:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Understanding the barriers to participation and knowledge of approaches to increasing
participation within the cultural sector.
· Knowledge of methods to deliver, monitor and evaluate creative projects and programmes
(and their associated contracts), including commissioning and procurement processes within
a local authority setting.
· Excellent Project Management skills, including delivering projects on time and to budget.
· Ability to operate within a dynamic environment flexibly but without losing focus.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills. Including the ability to produce clear
reports and presentations to various audiences.
· Excellent IT skills, including- Excel, Word, editing software and content management
systems.
· Experience delivering and monitoring large-scale public programmes, including lead-up
activities.
· Experience with innovative and ambitious creative production across multiple art forms,
ideally within a festival context.
· Experience leading and managing a mixed team, including freelancers, artists, volunteers,
community groups and apprentices.
· Experience in commissioning and contract management, evaluation and reporting.
· Experience delivering creative programmes per current safeguarding and event
management regulations and procedures.
· Substantial successful fundraising experience.
· Experience in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies.
· The position will be hybrid working (home/office). Part-time (2-3 days a week). Immediate
start after interviews.
