To be at the forefront of customer services dealing with the public at the reception desk, by telephone and by email. The duties will include operating a computerised booking and box office system, cash handling, issuing receipts and maintenance of information databases, and directing conference delegates and other users:
Responsibility
To meet and greet customers and members of the public. Deal with public/client enquiries, problems, difficulties, complaints and records as appropriate to ensure high customer service provision:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· NVQ Level 2 in administration or three years equivalent experience in a similar role.
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Social
Media, and CRM:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Solid experience in a customer service environment or receptionist post.
· Advanced working knowledge of computer packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, social media, and CRM
· Demonstrable experience in meeting and greeting customers and members of the public.
· Experience in dealing with public client enquiries, problems, difficulties or complaints and
recording as appropriate to ensure high customer service provision.
· Ability to provide administrative support to the department, including word processing and
updating of databases.
· Able to process all incoming mail and deliveries, ensuring it is allocated to the correct client.
· Able to lock up reception and ensure it is secure before leaving for the day.
· Assist with the emergency evacuation procedures as required
· Ensure the provision of high standards of customer care across all the services provided.
· Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and operate within the highest standards,
which reflect the core values and behaviours of the origination.
