To undertake complex programmed and complaint audits, inspections, surveys and investigations under all the relevant Environmental Health Legislation, including visiting sites alone and taking necessary action; such visits will involve attending locations and encountering situations which may include personal risk:
Responsibility
To identify, develop and nurture partnerships with other individuals, agencies, groups and government departments to enable the Service to grow and gain greater efficiency in delivering its core functions:
Qualification – Essential
• GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
• Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health
• Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Social
Media, and CRM:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of current work practices and recent developments within
Environmental Health.
• Knowledge and awareness of the issues involved when working within a multi-racial
community.
• Appreciation of how the organised and conducts its business
• Specialist knowledge of residential/housing functions as it relates to Environmental Health
• Demonstrably high level of analytical, verbal and numeric reasoning skills
Essential Compliance Requirements
• 3 Years References
• A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
