We are recruiting a Mental Health Commissioning Manager: - To enable the effective commissioning of high-quality services for children, young people, and families:
Responsibility
Supporting the Contract Management Meetings and associated finance and activity and quality structures, including preparation of papers, coordinating complex data and soft intelligence on the detailed financial and service performance of contracts and services:
Qualification – Essential
· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
· Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification or management experience or
· Knowledge acquired through experience or training.
· Evidence of continued professional development.
· Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and social media:
Critical - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.
· Significant experience in successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
· Experience in managing risks and reporting.
· Experience in drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior audience.
· Experience in monitoring budgets and business planning processes.
· Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment.
· Experience in setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures
· Ability to analyse complex issues where the material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.
· Numerate and able to understand complex financial matters combined with excellent analytical skills.
· Knowledge of Financial Systems, e.g., monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement
· Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools, such as Prince 2
· Ability to prepare and produce concise communications for dissemination to a broad range of stakeholders as required.
· Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium, and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource
requirements accordingly.
· Ability to work as part of a team and flexibly to support other departments and teams as and when necessary.
