We’re looking for a Pest Control Officer To discharge the statutory obligations under the Public Health Act 1936 and the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949 to ensure that, so far as is practicable, keep the area free from rats, mice and other vermin:
Responsibility
To coordinate and carry out treatments appropriate to specific tasks ensuring the most efficient destruction of all pests using approved methods:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English
· RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management (or equivalent)
· Valid and full UK driving licence
· Standard user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media, and CRM:
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised following agreed on work
programmes
· Solid operational pest control experience
· Solid experience in using a variety of information systems and technology
· Experience in planning, delivery and coordination of workloads
· Experience in planning, delivery and coordination of projects
· Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
· Excellent Customer focus experience
· Ability to write concise reports and keep written and computerised records of casework
· Solid understanding and commitment to working safely
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· DBS - Enhanced
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
