We are recruiting a Senior Parking Manager to secure the continuous development, improvement, efficiency and success of parking and enforcement service through effective planning, budget management, staff management and governance:
Responsibility
Tobe is responsible for leading the delivery of time and budget Parking projects, incorporating identifying and managing
Funding streams, senior-level governance arrangements, and complex inter-dependent project plans:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Degree and Demonstrable relevant experience
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media, MS Teams
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Ability to effectively and efficiently handle customer service complaints and concerns
· Experience in managing parking and traffic enforcement within the requirements of the
Traffic Management Act, the Road Traffic Act
· Ability to make a positive contribution to the delivery of the service and achieve the
objectives of the business
· Ability to ensure the service meets all Key Performance Indicator targets set by the
business
· Experience in leading and overseeing parking management, including parking and
moving traffic enforcement
· Experience in permit administration, cashless parking, appeals management and
responsibility for the management of the Parking Account
· Ability to procure, negotiate and manage a complex, large and high-profile contract for
service delivery, securing value for money
· Experience in working with Service Managers to design and develop service Projects
Plans,
· Able to identify potential timescales for delivery, potential costs, and revenue to be
generated, and resource requirements
· Ability to report and investigate all accidents by assigned transportation officers
· Ability to review weekly performance reports and achieve quarterly performance quotas
· Experience in ensuring preventive maintenance on trucks is performed on a timely basis
· Ability to investigate and resolve issues submitted by customers, carriers or clients and
provide follow-up
· Ability to lead and manage several managers and staff in a distinct of the business’s
front-line services
· Ability to act as the business’s senior professional and expert adviser in all parking and
traffic enforcement matters
· Ability to work well under pressure and in situations that may become challenging
· Ability to work flexibly to meet competing needs and demands
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing to a wide range of people
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
