Description
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide confidential and effective administrative support to the team, to provide admin support and maintain a client database, update records and carry out any other administrative duties to support the team. To handle incoming referrals from other professionals and deal with queries from other service users both in person and by phone:

Qualification – Essential
·         GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
·         NVQ Level 4 &/or relevant experience
·         Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media and CRM

Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
·         Solid administrator with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages (particularly TEAMS,
          Word & Outlook)
·         Must be able to take minutes
·         Good experience of working in a busy customer focussed environment
·         Experience in dealing with the public over the phone and in-person
·         Experience in dealing with the public over the telephone
·         Ability to cope with highly-sensitive, sometimes distressing, information when dealing
          with clients’
·         Able to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
·         Excellent communication skills across different groups and organisations, a polite
          telephone manner, and excellent customer service skills
·         Ability to maintain the CRM database and deal with potential service users over the
          telephone and in person
·         Ability to work quickly and accurately and be able to adapt to changes in levels of
          workload and priorities
·         Ability to work well within a team and also alone in a typical office environment
·         Ability to follow specified processes to ensure consistent service delivery to all customers
·         Excellent verbal and written skills
·         Knowledge of a broad range of Local government roles and functions
·         Social Care setting (experience of this may be a bonus)
·         Hybrid working, but the candidate needs to be office based sometimes

Essential Compliance Requirements
·         Three Years of Reference
·         Enhanced DBS
·         Pre-employment check is mandatory
