We are looking for an Audio Visual Manager to manage AV services, including all audio-visual equipment, maintenance and services. The day-to-day management of the audio-visual within event spaces, boardrooms, meeting rooms and quiet rooms, support services, and general meeting room requests. Manage and lead staff to achieve high performance and effective operational delivery, including developing and improving staff capability:
Qualification – Essential
· GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent to include Maths and English
· Audio Visual Qualification
· CTS Qualification
· Advanced user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
· Knowledge of modern audio-visual systems and trends
· Knowledge and awareness of current health & safety legislation and regulations
· Current and up-to-date IT knowledge
· Knowledge and understanding of budget setting, control and monitoring
· Knowledge of basic audio-visual project management methods
· Substantial experience working operationally in the industry – preferably within an in-
house venue environment or with an AV supplier who works with event venues
· Proven experience overseeing and managing full-scale event productions with
experience with Sound and Lighting and IT
· Experienced in Audio Visual sales and product knowledge
· Good person-management skills that inspire respect and confidence
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to empathise, and maintain
professionalism
and display patience and politeness within an often pressurised environment
· Works well both independently or as part of a larger team
· Flexible and supportive team player with a hands-on approach
· Smart, clean appearance and presentation
· Committed to continuous improvement and achieving high client satisfaction
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in liaising with customers
and colleagues on all levels
· A conscientious, flexible and ‘can do’ working style
Essential Compliance Requirements
· Three Years of Reference
· Current IPAF 3a & 3b License
· Current Basic Ladder Training Certificate
· Current Manual Handling Certificate
· Pre-employment check is mandatory
