Description
We are recruiting an Office Distribution Manager for a family-run Railway Safety business established in 1980. The company design and manufactures Railway Safety Equipment, made in the UK. We have a strategic business partner in Bracknell and overspill assembly work in Marlow and Milton Keynes. We are ISO 9001:2015 certificated;
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and moral compass, able to communicate with people at all levels, and friendly but professional. Able to integrate within a small family business and be mindful of the needs of others within the environment. A good sense of humour, self-motivated and can commit for the long term, willing to take more responsibility as the business grows:
Qualification – Essential
·         GCSEs  or equivalent to include Maths and English
·         NVQ level business and finance or relevant experience
·         Advanced user – Sage and Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook,
Essential - Skills, Abilities & Experience
·         Proven experience in dealing with the customer through emails and telephone calls
·         Experience in providing quotations using SAGE software
·         Willing to assist the team with packing orders – must be Physically able to pack and carry
          parcels
·         Able to drop off and pick up from manufacturing locations, Occasional
·         knowledge of Sage Accounting package to compile quotations would be an advantage –
          In-house training provided
·         Ability to deal effectively with customer enquiries at all levels and follow through to
          resolution
·         Ability to communicate effectively in writing, phone and email and face to face to a broad
          audience
·         Experience in administrative work or similar office environment dealing with
          correspondence, filing, preparing documents and using IT systems
·         Ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise tasks to achieve performance
          targets
·         Clean driving licence (Van experience essential) No cumulative speeding fines/points-
          essential
Essential Compliance Requirements
·         Three Years of Reference
·         A pre-engagement screening is mandatory for this role
